Isn’t he SO cute?!
Sweet and innocent (though that status may have changed since he learned the art of opening doors), capricious and adorable, exuberant, loved and missed, he is Phillip, my favorite - and only - nephew. He is such a talented baby!
I’m thinking I might hire him to be both my chauffer and pianist-in-waiting, personally trained to drive me where I need to go and practice piano for me whenever I don’t feel like practicing.
He is so dynamic - these are pictures of one of his first performances. Oh! The drama… a true performer he is!
Now lets find out if his… um, technically challenged Aunt can actually get the pictures to post properly (unlike last time…).

Wow, good job, Chrissy!! (and Phillip) What cuteness.
(Maybe Phillip’s uncle will one day merit that title on the top of a post??)
*amy runs and hides*
Hi Chrissy. Thanks for the pics of the little nephew we share; we see him far to infrequently too and it’s great to see him via your blog
He certainly is a darling.
I’m glad you all can actually see the pictures! Thanks for the comments!
*pillow flies across the room*
You sure paint quite the picture. I’m tempted to post pictures to the contrary that give a truer picture of the real Phillip as we know him. Why just today he was trying to put up his gate in our bedroom door (one we use to keep him in or out of certain places since he opens doors) so HE wouldn’t be tempted to bother his daddy who is trying to study. It must be bad if needs that just to restrain himself.
Aww what a cute kid, glad I’m related to him too
p.s. I found your blog!
Chrissy, those were very cute pictures. I think, too, that Jen should give us some more updates on his off-camera behaviour… I imagine, just like movie stars, the little pianist’s a bit different when he lacks the glamour of the bright lights.
Chrissy, I must also gently remind you to remember what country you are a (hopefully) proud citizen of. I would run a CANADIAN spell-check on the first paragraph of your post.
Don’t worry, Chrissy - as one speaking from your neiboring nation, I favor the the American flavor of spelling - its less letters. Its color is simpler and less glamorous, just as the people are, in a way. Well, there you have it.
I mean neihboring… I was slipping into French…
Curt & Jen - You mean neighboring, right? Thanks to you both for your creativity with the American way of spelling. Rach, thanks for the Canadian spell check tip. Just so you all know though, I believe I will continue to use ENGLISH as my primary means of speaking on this blog… unless you prefer Spanish?
Hey, nice pictures, Chrissy! Very funny!
I definitely concur with Rachel… I would expect that Phillip, being the son of his father (and his mother, though I know less about her early childhood), would be getting into piles of mischievous trouble! Any gumball machine stories yet? Or maybe does he have a penchant for following old men around in malls? And especially watch out for those fountains with pennies in them!
Oh, just thought of something else for the author of the first comment.
*Watch out for falling tents!*
*queen of the raft still rules*
. . . in many things . . .
*watch out for blue shower water*
*guard pictures of special people and toiletries at all times*
*the tenacity of Rufus is required for pillow fights :P*
Etc, etc . . .
I sleep in a tent trailer @ the cottage . . . hate to burst your bubble
In reply to anonymous comment # 13: The same goes for Steve… if not more…
Warning: *Duck, Amy!*
Hmm, the subtleties of these comments are somewhat lost upon me
Happily, the pictures are not –I was going to do a post on Phillip, and you beat me to it Chrissy
He’s becoming quite the blog-star(?)
Hmmm…. Well, in that case,
*Watch out for runaway tent trailers!*
Careful, Matt…that’s my family’s trailer, so I guess that means you’ll answer to me if anything happens to it…haha.
I guess this means you’ll be at the cottage this summer, eh? Amy, what do you think of resurrecting Kangaroo Kourt once more?
Haha. Great pics, Chrissy. I miss you!!!
I’m not sure I’d go for a blood brother at the cottage. Although, a comrade against this horde of Vogels(and associates, ie Brinks, Sissons, etc.) might be useful…
